The News…

First up congrats to Declan Lepage on getting Pic Of the Month on http://www.Pinkbike.com features Dartmoor Uk rider Marcel Hunt, see here

second up, Big News coming, we’ve just sorted a co-sponsor for our 4X team in the shape of RAW Sports, part owned by Rob Warner of freecaster fame and a lot more… more news next week.

Shiny FOD

Slam69/Dartmoor uk riders Rich Lane and Luke Limbrick took a couple of bikes down to the woods to play. The woods in question are the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire, UK, the bikes, Limbo’s 4X Phantom and the other, a Dartmoor Shine Custom build.

The Phantom is the same bike Luke won the 2011 National 4X champs on, 6 speed SRAM XO,, Hope Tech2 Pink Brakes, Dartmoor Raider rims and Hope Hubs, 100mm up front taken care of by a pair of sweet Fox 831′s. total weight, just over 22Ilbs.

The Shine is setup in singlespeed mode, we have run it with gears and it works fine but this setup is so much fun and nothing to go wrong or fiddle with. Forks are 130mm Manitou Circus, totally love these forks, very reliable all year and just £299rrp. maybe even cheaper at Slam69.co.uk… sorry.

So go check out the movie… enjoy
